I am tring to set up a Mandrake Linux 9.0 box (x86) as DHCP server for a Windoze machine (soon to be dual boot
) and a Macintosh. I already installed drakwizard and ahve all of the server components installed as well. Also everything is hooked up.
My problem is simple. When I try to enter in the IP address range, the wizard tells me that the range I entered is incorrect. I have tried many different ranges all with the same result. The server manual I downloaded off of Mndrake's site has no answer either.
Any ideas?
Also, I am going to set the server up for filesharing and printsharing as well. Are there any tips or tricks anyonr would like to share?
