K Menu

Im wondering if anyone knows of any way to just load the K-Menu without having the kicker running?

I am running xfce and i had kicker running but i found it slow. The only thing i particularly want from kicker is the KMenu. Im not sure how to look to find out if kicker calls a separate command or kdeinit when the Kmenu is clicked.

Sure this works for me: ~/.kde/share/config/kickerrc

It should show only the menu, and I shrunk the bar also to be only the size of the menu (1% rather than the default 100% of the screen width).

hmmm i should hope it will also speed up kicker when i do it. My main reason for not just using kicker instead of the xfce-panel is that kicker is much slower.
