Starting FC2 w/o a gfx

is it possible to start a linux FC2 installation without a graphicscard in it?
im supposed to send my in for replacement, since the fan starts sounding bad, but i dont want to have the puter powerd off.

if its possible, do i have to do some settings for this?

I assume you are asking if you can run an already installed FC2 system without a graphics card (not can you install FC2 on a system without a graphics card)? If so, yes, that should be no problem. Just pull the card and start it up. I would set the default runlevel to 3 though before removing the card. It wouldn't be necessary to set the runlevel to 3 but if you don't it will try and start X, which it would not be able to do without a graphics card.

k... runlevel 3, but thisi already use :D
but i just remembered something, how about the bios?
i think ive seen computers that wont start anything w/o a gfx, so ill try it b4 ill send the gfx away :D
i should still be able to connect to it through SSH, rite?

That is correct. If it won't boot it would be because of a BIOS issue, not a Fedora issue.
