What will home computers be like in the year 2004?

Place to discuss anything, almost. No politics, religion, Microsoft, or anything else that I (the nazi censor) deem inappropriate.

Holy crap, you are not going to believe this!! I got this in a message from one of my friends who always send me this type of stuff which 75% of the time turns out to be an urban legend (and because of that I normally don't pass this sort of crap along, but I didn't have any reason to suspect this as a hoax). The *funny* part is, I sent this on to a few other guys I work with and one of them I work directly with just happened to have served for 6 years on a sub. He told me that the picture looked exactly like a particular station on the sub he was on. I didn't think much of it until I read that article. Here is some pictures he sent me of the station on a sub like the one he was on:

I should have listened to what he said a little more closely. :) When he got the picture from me he actually said it looked identical except there was a sonar screen where the TV is and there was some other sort of station where the teletype is. Duh!

Looks remarkably accurate, but what's the story with that tiny little man?
