What a load of crap.

I did a yast update and I did the FATAL mistake of choosing to upgrade the kernel using yast. Talk about a major hose down. I mean seriously. If they cant make it work the right way dont even bother including it in the yast upgrade. Jesus efen Christ. I know better than this. When dealing with the k...

Popularity causes weak programs?

http://www.theregister.com/2005/09/22/mozilla_growing_pains/ Ok first of all as we all know, MS they roll out their patches with out saying what the flaws were. They also roll out their patches once every month so it will look as if there are not alot of things that need fixing. Having said that tho...

For a production environment which kernel. 2.4 or 2.6?

Which one would you use? I get this impression that 2.4 seems to be a much more mature kernel (because of it's age) than 2.6. A new company being formed. 100% Linux.

As luck would have it, my roomates decided to open up their own company. It will be a multimedia company. They have rented their office space which is a nice retro looking 1200 square feet ware house right in the center of chicago. By their own request, they wanted me to be the one who will setup th...

It helps me with the girls.

Linux gives me an additional weapon to my already deadly arsenal. Girls who use Linux get extra credit in my book and it makes me want to date them even more. It is a sign that they are smart and a bit deviant in their lifestyle. Linux is not yet mainstream in the desktop area, so people who use it ...

My three favorite distros are RH, Suse and Debian.
Hell, I have all three in my three computers. I should say though that I still run RH 7.3 but with a jacked up kernel :D.

And hello Voidman :)
