meh. I've given up on this method of accessing the server -- I wanted to use a GUI db client, but I'm just sshing in and playing with the command-line interactive client.

you can selectively block content by right clicking on the page and choosing block content. I don't know how to set it up to automatically block content from certains sites though.

I have a MacMini, but I miss Linux

I got a new MacMini that I use at work now. I'm liking OS X, but not nearly as much as linux. There's not even a middle-click paste or focus following mouse!! So I'm thinking of either: installing KDE on top of OS X (so i can use Kate and Konsole), install Linux in VirtualBox, or just installing Lin...

hey cool, not to steal away your thread but just recently got a new Job as well. As of next week I am a Junior Systems Administrator at a very cool commercial ISP/ Web Hosting/ VOIP provider.

I'll be managing FreeBSD servers (they only use FreeBSD and OS X)

There's a cool website called browsershots that will give you what your site looks like in IE (and a bunch of other browsers).

I always hate how the fonts are always different sizes in IE than other browsers.

I'm not running the quad core, but i ran AMD 64bit for a while. The only real issue was firefox. There are some plugins/extensions that don't work with 64bit. I think sun only recently released a 64bit java plugin. Luckily i use Opera anyway.

I am sure that we all have our own shelves just full of gems, but I think it would be pretty cool if we could all pool our resources, and provide ea...
