I tried Mplayer

it said that I was missing audio codec 0x2000

Like xine the DVD plays normally (rather well actually) but NO SOUND!! :evil: :shock:

could Xine be missing the same codec??

I think Open office is pinnacle Opensource project (behind Linux).

I make sure everyone I meet hears about it, and then I give them my speal on opensource.

So far I have infected two businesses with openoffice :wink:

Unfortunitley only one was willing to try Linux :(
