from what i can tell, RH is more of a Server oriented OS. More utilities to monitor you network and in general the server "stuff" are right on your face waving their hands to you as if the itnernet is going out of style. On the other hand, Suse has all the server "stuff" but they are, lets say hidde...

this was my reply. I dunno if it will make it on the board though. We shall see. First of all you could have done a better job that just saying "Clue: Apache-->Open Source". That is not a constructive reply for a Managing Editor. Second of all. Linux is the kernel is it not? This is a Linux site is ...

Dunno man, but SUSE so far runs smooth and stable. I REALLY like it.
The dual boot setup award though goes to RH hands down. Easy breeze.

Ill see whats the story with Apache in Suse.

I need to install RH9. Curiosity is getting the best of me.

An advice to all Programming Majors in here

If you have an easy class, lets say javaScript, dont let it fool you. Try to read all the material the night before the midterm, and uuuummmm, you simply dont have enough time. So, dont get fooled, even ashes can be heavy if you have to carry 50 pounds of it. *hoh boy am gonna blow the midterm big t...

But its not a bigie. He said you close it and launch it again with no problem what soever till the 90 hours ...

I like Linux because of its options

Shading, Multiple Desktops, Tabs. These are a big MUST for me since it helps me organize my applications and windows in a nice fashion. It doesnt crash. (not any big news here) Its based on meritocracy and not on money. The Linux community gives you all the sophisticated tools you need to code and a...
