when you do get it built I suggest you go with a stage 2 or 3 build since a 900 isn't all that fast and waiting isn't worth it for just a low load router

I've grow quite frond of phoenix later

It's faster than even IE and has some snazzy features like a built in popup killer

there are binaries for both windows and linux (some source tarballs would be nice on the linux end but oh well)

I encourage people to give it a try

Yep. Its an Athlon 900 (not as fast as my main rig) so I want to set it up as a router and then take it from there and play with both machines by playing with s Apache (Apache is not that hard to do the basic setup) an FTP server ( i know its not the most secure thing), Samba which i am lost in spa...

hi estranged :) I'm a gentoo man myself but use slack on less powerful machines when I don't have 2 weeks to dedicate to compiles (I setup a server with slack a couple weeks ago) BTW: a gentoo forum would be nice here, I've got a bunch of experience with it and I personally think that it is the best...

What programming languages do you know

I know some C++ and Qbasic (as well as a bunch of the BASIC spinoffs since they are all pretty alike)

I shouldn't mention QB since it is a M$ language but oh well
