I wanted to try this out myself but realised I had forgotten all of what I had ever known of C. :( Instead I wrote a kludgy bash shell script to do the job! #!/bin/bash echo -n "Enter n: " read -e N; MATRIX[0]='Results: \n' Y=0 while [ $Y -le $[$N-1] ];do let "Y += 1" : $[POS_N = $[$N+1] * $Y] MATRI...

Challenge

This is a little programming challenge posed by TheQuirk at 'the other place'. Next challenge: Fill an n by n array in the following manner: http://img377.imageshack.us/img377/591/chal39cl.png For example, suppose that n = 3. Your program should create the following array: [[1 2 3] [8 9 4] [7 6 5]] ...

Using 2.6.11.6, so fairly new in the grand scheme of things. Dunno what the current Fedora kernel is supposed to be; i'm in the habit of rolling my own when nessesary.

Anyhow, audit seems to have solved it. Or at least hidden it like Ibuprofen.
Thanks for the help.

I had this problem and I really can't remember how I fixed it. Perhaps this will help: [tux@mithrandir ~]$ rpm -qa | grep wx wxGTK-2.4.2-12 wxPython2.6-gtk2-unicode-2.6.1.0-fc2_py2.4 wxGTK2-gl-2.4.2-12 wxGTK2-devel-2.4.2-12 wxGTK2-stc-2.4.2-12 wxGTK-common-devel-2.4.2-12 wxGTK2-2.4.2-12 wxPython-com...

Alot of programs don't seem to have been moved to the FC4 repo's in any timely fashion. I'm finding lots of missing deps.

Currently, I'm just heading to FreshRPM's or DAG and downloading the FC3 or EL4 version of whatever is needed.

Install the new version of apt and then check that your rpm and rpm* packages are up to 4.4.
I linked this for Jim in another thread, it's from DAG's site.

With it being summer, could it be temperature?
Sorry to keep offering this as a suggestion but it's becoming a problem these days.

http://dag.wieers.com/packages/apt/apt- ... f.i386.rpm

It's on the page you linked. Scan down the right hand column, it's the first entry listed 'RPM File'.

It relies from a package from the DAG repository, which you don't have added.

EDIT: Oops, you do.

I just created my own FC4 repo by downloading the DVD, mounting it on a loop, symbolic linking all the RPMS to my RPMS.os repo directory and then upgrade my machines from it. FreshRPMS does have the FC4 RPMS.updates repo. That's what I did, I prefer it to upgrading with anaconda. Saves a DVDR and a...
