Server Fans

If you are running a HP server you will need to install their server management software. I had the same problem with a Compaq. I loaded the SIM Sofware and the server is quiet now.

Good Luck

I am pretty new to Fedora but have used Red Hat before.
My question is why cant I launch certain commands under my user login?
Even if I su i still cannot. I have to acutually log on as root to launch
useradd
ifconfig

etc....

Please help

It really doenst matter what kind of server you get. As long as you have good support. We are a major HP shop and Linux runs fine.

Updates

It is bitten me once or twice.

Remote SSH

I have just stood up a Fedora Core 3 system. The issue that I have having is that I can not connect to the server remotely via ssh. I have verified that sshd is running but I can not connect from other machines.
Client being used is Secure CRT and SSH Secure Shell.

Thanks for any help
