Couldn't agree more, Void Main. Can't help the smile spreading over my face at the thought of a fifty-fifty user share MS vs. GNU/Linux et al.. Imagine that MS will actually have a reason to improve! If it won't, fifty-fifty will quickly tip over to the Linux side. I just installed win2k because my ...

Slightly OT:
I fell in love with audacity - I'm an easy catch - because it lets me slow down maniac-fast sax parts in various jazz pieces, thus letting me get down the melody. This is truly priceless.

There is more to this than 'standards'. The fingers and the hands get used to the letters being in the (for lack of a better word) normal place. Proof - I typed everything to this point without looking at the keyboard. Another proof - notice how much more difficult it is to type on a keyboard with ...

Exactly: Yesterday: GNU/Linux - it didn't take long to convert me Today: Dvorak - a bit of history and a few statistics and there isn't any doubt Tomorrow:who knows? hexadecimal numerics? A new alphabet? A new, meaning-optimised language? Maybe not - but I refuse to conform to standards just because...

The Dvorak Keyboard: The Right Way To Go

I finally made the switch to dvorak today. I strongly recommend you do the same, especially if your main languages are amongst the following: English, French, German, Spanish, Norweigian (Norse?) and Hebrew - all these have their own Dvoraks (unlike Czech). There is a simple, yet very effective GNU/...

That's cool. Kinda reminds me of: http://jpbrown.i8.com/cubesolver.html It's a pity these people waste their time on stuff like this, while they could be using it to switch to Linux and learn a helluvalot about it - even help develop eventually. (Sorry. I just can't get over the fact that this perso...
