Hello piratePenguin, nice to see you here :)

I backup manually, but I plan to implement a script involving scp-ing all my data to my other PC.

As for SVN, and BZR in my case, I trust that the repos will hold what there is, so I can just pull again if I lose my copy.

The change was gradual, so I only 'assumed' the added advantage. However, when I started university this year, I had to st...

Indeed. I think this world would be a lot better if SW companies cared to GPL their old software. Have a look at teh quake series - that's really cool. I don't even mind they keep it closed at first.
Maybe all code should go GPL after 10 years of existence :)

Because geeks are so often connected with coffee... and the more posts you make, the more coffee you had to consume in order to stay up that long.

... and even though you might not think so, we at Ubuntu _are_ geeks. Really. :)

it's a composite manager... or a 'compizite manager' if you want :)
You pronounce it in fake slang, trying to make it sound as careless as possible, so that it sounds natural that you lack a few of the ending sounds...

You still assume the writer owns a work. He owns the paper it's on. But how can he own the _way_ the ink is arranged on the paper? In fact, it's hardly definable as ownership - that's why we have copyright (you don't own a song, you hold the copyright to it). You assume the current state is the natu...
