The article has some nice humour allright..But what amazes me is, how he was able to code a proggie to decrypt the data? The encrypted binary makes no mention of the kind of encrytion used...Pretty fascinating stuff!

Switch off the printer, remove the entry from the config tool & run kudzu from the r00t prompt. If it prompts, remove the printer from the database. Next, power it back on and run kudzu. If it detects, try taking a print. If not, rerun the printer config tool and then try printing....

I've noticed that apps take a longer time to load when using a minimalistic desktop environment. eg: Window Maker is very fast and light weight, but running an app takes a significantly longer time than it would in KDE or Gnome. The site receives about 2000 unique visitors per day..So the 500 SQL connections is pretty low. I've just finished adding the mysql_close() to the PHP scripts, so hopefully that will help. The hosting company doesnt provide SSH/terminal access so there is no way for me to find out whats eating the r...

This is one of the reasons I'm using WindowMaker....KDE is really slow on my system...

hi, I've got a couple of PHP scripts running on a webserver (shared hosting) As the number of users increased, the database displays an error: Too many connections 1040 Could this be due to the PHP scripts? cause I havent specified mysql_close() anywhere...Isint PHP supposed to close all open connec...

I couldnt agree better on this Void Main. Nat Geo has some excellent photography too...MTV & News has tooo much of junk running in a perpertual Loop... It comes down to watching someone catch giant anaconda snakes on the national geographic channel or an old black and white rerun of Gilligan's Islan...
