I just downloaded phpBB. I have postgresql isntalled (i barely know how to use it). I created my database and started the postgresql server and added a pgsql user. Now i tried installing phpBB and it said "your version of PHP doesnt support postgresql". I'm almost postive my PHP works on my server. ...

None of the bars i tried with Karamba worked well enough for me to keep it as a replacement for the kicker. I found one that worked, but since i installed about 8 i cant remember which one it was :roll:

ya i just chmodded /dev/hdc (where dev/cdrom goes to) and /dev/sr0 (my other drive) to 777. It should work now,

erm.... i dont have a /etc/security/ directory let alone a console.perms
I'll look in the startup scripts and see if it tried to call that file or if it is set in there

I cant figure out the permissions for my CDROM. I have /dev/cdrom. I put in a music CD, run KsCD as user and it says "insufficient permissions (or no CD loaded)". Then i run KsCD as root and it works perfectly fine. I have played around with the permission in fstab, but i cant seem to figure out wha...

dunno where to post this... there is no Linux hardware forum. I have a CDROM and a CD-RW in my computer. I can burn things fine with XCDRoast. They should be /dev/hdc (should be cdrom) and /dev/hdd (should be cdrw). There is a /dev/cdrom but no /dev/cdrom1. When i try to mount /dev/cdrom it gives me...

just wonerin if anyone would happen to know what "libmm.so.12" is for. PHP needs it, but i cant find anything that has it in it, i find about 4 results on google when searching.
