Boot Error in FC5
Can you try to add "pnpacpi=off" to the kernel boot line? To do this reboot your computer and when the very first blue boot screen pops up immediately press the "a" key. It should take you to the end of the kernel boot line (line should start with the word "kernel"). At the end of that line type in a space and then "pnpacpi=off" without the quotes and then press ENTER. If it boots ok without problems you'll want to edit your /etc/grub.conf file and add the parameter to the boot line so it is permanent.
