Source problem

When i try to run a java program i wrote (Which works fine under debian on my laptop) I get the following error:
java: symbol lookup error: /usr/lib/libgdk-x11-2.0.so.0: undefined symbol: g_type_register_static_simple

Now, i did just upgrade from FC5 to FC6, i'm not sure how to fix this though?

Did you compile it on the FC6 system? Is there some way that I can duplicate this problem so as to try and figure out where the problem is?

yep, i compiled it on the same system.

This comes up with any graphical application, but does not if it is console based. I just tried a hello world program to check that.

Thats all i really know about this.

Where did your java installation come from and what exact version is it?

well i was about to say its straight from sun.... but i just ran java -version and the one in my path is GNU. So that may be the problem, ill have to sort this out....

Edit: i dont get that error when i use Sun's Java 1.5.0_06
