I just installed it in my Hard drive and only thing I can say is that it rocks the house.
While running live from the cd hit cntrl alt f1 or f2 and then type knx-hdinstall. The install procedure is straight foward (not GUI).

It comes with ext 2 - 3 and XFS :P . I use XFS for both machines.
And it has alot of lightweight GUIS (fluxbox is one) along with kde.

You might also like this one. It uses Debians apt -get to install programs. I havent checkjed yet what repository its using but its sweet as hell.

Thats all.

i am interested in morphix too, similar concept (bootable from CDs etc) a mate of mine has it but haven't seen it yet.

i wasn't too keen on knoppix' 3.1 hard drive installation but i expect they have tightened it up a lot since then.
