Mandrake Move (install question)

Post by dickinsd » Thu Feb 03, 2005 11:14 am

I have a CD from a friend, it has got mandrake move wrote on the CD, so I am assuming that is what it is, the CD appears to be a live CD, but is nice enough, I would like to install Mandrake to have a look at it, and use it as a fully installed OS for a while.

Is there a command that will allow me to install Mandrake from the live CD (as you can do with Knoppix - if you want debien?)

i don't think so. you will probably have to download actual mandrake install CDs (there are three, and you will probably want at least the first two)... i couldn't find any reference online about installing from the live CD to HDD.

i'd recommend linuxiso.org as your first stop for downloading mandrake.
