Palm m515 question

I have a palm m515 and i haven't been able to get it working in RH 8, so I was wondering if it works in Mandrake 9.1.

Guess not that many people around here have a Palm m515. If it connects via a USB cable, simply figuring out which /dev has been assigned to it and setting up the fstab would be chores in any distro.

Now I'm kinda curious - how well do PalmOS and Linux mesh with each other generally? Is the m515 well-suited for a Linux install?

in a word YES.. i have my m515 synching under j-pilot with no problem ... just had to set synch pref to ttyUSB0 and synch works no problem as a side note disto is suse 9.1 pro

I have my Palm now syncing with Fedora Core 1 no problem.

I found that it connects to /dev/ttyUSB1 and I change the permission for that device to 777 and programs can now use it fine.
