Setup a modempool

Post by Basher52 » Fri Mar 02, 2007 1:13 am

I wanna do something illegal, lol well atleast my ISP says it is. It's not permitted to alow others to use our internet connection :P

If I want to set up a modem to answer calls so my wife's sister can call it and go through our net to browse www, how do I do this?
and if its possible to have a software or something to separate a "normal" call and a "modem" call.

hope you get what I wanna do

I hope it's a local call. I also hope you don't mind having your phone line tied up. I also hope more than one doesn't want to call at a time or you might need to get another line in which case they might as well just get their own DSL connection. Having said all that, here is the answer to your question (ppp server):

This document might be a little easier to follow. Well, it's pretty anyway. :)
