Yo... here I am again
Have I tried this... yep and a lot too, but no good :(

I wanna split a big number of files, after I packed them all, into smaller pieces, just so I can mail them to my "BKUP" server.
this havenät been working since about the starting of May, and hte last file sent was 30M bytes and I think THAT is the problem, the SIZE of it all
I need to Split the RARs into more files and EMail all of those into several emails :P


hopefully if this can be done by some "dynamic" thing, it would be even grater lol

Well, I don't know about a dynamic thing but I use the "split" command to do this then use the "cat" command to reconnect them after you have received all the pieces. I'm thinking there are mailers that will split files up as I used to see some of that on the binary news groups. The newsreader would be able to automatically paste the pieces back together. At any rate split/cat do a fine job. See the man page:
