Looks like you just started a Linux desktop thread, or am I missing something? Do you mean you want a separate forum for it? What sort of stuff would you expect to go in it?
oh no, not a seperate forum. Just a thread. here in the Lounge forum or in the Why I like Linux forum. But I didnt want to start a thread like that with out asking you since a thread like that may become really really big.
Why would it become any bigger than any other thread? /me not understand... Unless you mean a screenshot thread. If so feel free to put it wherever you want but I would prefer links and not embedded images.

I am just being carefull since this is like a small pet project of yours and last thing I want is for me to cause havoc with the resources even though the images will not be stored in your database..

Yeah, I like the links not because it would save space on my server (which it wouldn't) but because I just hate embedded images. One or two posts in a thread aren't bad but an entire thread with them just plain sucks. It kills those with a small amount of RAM (and those with a lot of RAM). And since I do most of my work from an 800x600 laptop it kills the thread width when people post large embedded images.
